How i manage my money for travel & travel in a cheap way :)

I believe that the money need to be invested. There should be money in and money out. If out je takde money in or just keep the money peram pun tak boleh jugak. 

This post is not a tips but  more like how i manage and spend  for travel.

1.I am not a fancy gadget people who keep changing phone.I only own my 4 years old DSLR Sony A390, ipod, oldies blackberry bold yg masih hidup for whatsapp and nokia C3 for call. Thousand u invest for changing ur phone is equal to a cost of flight ticket to ur favret destination :)

2. I do not have high phone bills even guna post paid. My average bills every month kalau tgh study just below RM20, selalu RM14 je kalau cuti minimum payment RM5. Cuz i hardly call, semua communication is either through whatsapp or fb or twitter. Sibuk kadang smpai BIS pun mati tak perasan.   

3.Hardly shopping at the mall or online. Kadang bila rasa nak shopping je shopping. For clothing mix n match can be done. Kalau nak shopping pun murah2 tak branded pun.

4.Get the money from part time job if any, or macam haritu buat sleep experiment. Quite worth it. Kalau ada org nak buat bisnes berminat gak nak jadi partner tapi nak start or urus sndri sorg2 macam malas dan tak berkesempatan.

5.My weekend is at home, sbb save duit takyah gi mall. Money invest on public transport to go home is better than money invest at the mall. I'm a home girl.

6.Usually gi mall untuk makan sbb craving, takde pulak nak gi makan plus wayang. Sebab malas and money invested for wayang can be save up for something better :)

7.Airplane ticket on Tuesday and Wed is cheaper than travel on Friday or weekend. In fact ramai org so i usually travel on weekdays :D cheaper!

8.For hotel/hostel often check with hostelbookers, review from people comment at trip advisor. Dont mind staying at 1 star or 2 star hotel as long as they provide the best and comfortable toilet :D

9.While travel, heavy meal is not necessary unless lapar terlampau. One meal one day is good enough.

10.Hardly visit paid museum. Selalu visit tempat free. Suka tempat yg cantik untuk di photograph.

11.Eat like local at the place of visit. Local food cheaper , can ask either contain wine, gluten or bacon. So far the food seller will inform :) 

12.When u can walk why take a cab? avoid taking a cab on busy street. If u can walk from one block to another just walk. Study for bus/tram or train :) faster and cheaper!

13.For a better exploration and a little adventure, just get lost in ur way, ask local, learn local language and speak a lot with them. They are friendly :) 

14.Buy souveniers at bangladesh seller, cuz they are so frenly to Malaysian and they give good price kalau tawar menawar. Avoid shop souvenirs at the glamourous landmark. 

15.Stay in the hotel which is away from the main city or tourist attraction.

16.Kalau boleh drive better drive cuz lagi jimat espc. in europe. Study and reserach the route u want to go with ur budget so that u'll be under budget! 

17.If u have the courage to hitch hike boleh la try. For girl or female traveller its a bit risky.

18.Make connection or friends with those who live in the country u wish to visit :D it helps u to explore the city u want to go better like a local.

19. Buat la tabung travel, RM5 seminggu pun membantu. 

20. Everytime u have money to spend untuk yang perlu2 je. Avoid buying unnecessary things. 

21.Dont shop too much shoes when u only will wear a pair je. 

22. Buy books or travel books on BBW sales je. jimat

23.Dont be a fashion victim. I wear what comfort me but still takde la smpai org kata ketinggalan zaman. 

24. Hardly hang out lepak2 or minum2. Cuz hardly go out. Keluar means duit pun keluar. 

25. If u love concert and shows just pick which is the most u wanted to see, jangan la pegi semua. I went to CN Blue concert gak, tgk bola kat stadium gak, tgk teater gak :) Takde la jenis anti-sosial. hahaha

I dont have lots of money, but when there's money in, i save some for travel to my fav place :). When its time to work, work seriously, when the time to play , play seriously and enjoy :D  Kalau nak tunggu kaya baru mmg tak travel kemana la. When travel is passion, i'll do whatever to make the dreams come true. 

Asyik keje sampai tak nak keluar duit pun takleh gak. Kalau ade lebih sedekah and jalan lah :).

My mom's friend mempersoal ; "kaya nya cikgu bagi anak jalan etc etc."  
Mom reply ; "..eh diorg saving, bukan nye makan sangat and saya tak keluarkan duit pun, tu duit diorg sndri"

Why travel?

2. Niat kena betul kerana Allah & jangan tinggal tiang agama yg wajib bukan nak cop kat passport bangga dah masuk negara ni dah masuk negara tu.

3. Lain country lain system and its fun to know what they provide for their citizen.

4. Come out from comfort zone, through travel I myself learn to perform solat dalam train, blakang escalator, kat locker room area yg sunyi. How Malaysia been blessed with surau everywhere even dlm mall. Ambik wuduk dalam train with limited water. Dulu noob skrg dah boleh apply kalau travel. :) 

5 .Travel allow us to meet various wonderful people who dont judge apa bangsa kita, agama kita and some help us without judging and feel like home. Those feeling money cant buy.

6. Travel kat negara susah taught me to appreciate my life in my home country dan berhenti merungut cuz i've been bless with a lot of facilities kat negara sendiri takyah jalan jauh pegi mall, xyah susah2 angkut beras 5 kilo jalan kaki. (ni jadi kat HK)

7. Bila berjaya tawan certain tempat rasa happy! bukan sebab bangga tapi happy sebab survive. Survive their public transport and understand their system. Sebab tu la seronok travel sendiri instead of guna travel agent. Bila sesat tuhan turunkan org di sekeliling gerakkan hati diorg untuk membantu. It happen in Singapore , Germany and even my next door roomate in HK bagi selimut and winter coat cuz we didnt prepare for winter :'). Thank you Elaine Tsang! 

8. Masa jalan2 kat HK and insist nak ikut Carl si budak sweeden n pat local alone. cuak buat2 berani, tapi diorg ni baik and keep on jaga safety and Ben budak singapore siap main masak2 lagi makan sekali. How helpful people to me masa kat tempat org. 

9. I dont mind talking to strangers yg lost kat KL train station, if they need help nak assist kat negara ni. Made some new Bangladesh frens :)

10. Every places leave unforgettable people and memories which is worth it.
